Our Eucalyptus KS is engineered with glue and pressure to make it more stable than a solid piece of wood. This reduces the risk of movement that usually results from temperature and moisture changes during the kiln drying process. Unlike other common kiln sticks, Eucalyptus ENGINEERED is more stable than pine LVL and can resist warping and splitting, even under extreme temperature and humidity changes. Additionally, it maintains its shape and strength over time. Our 3/4” product consists of 7 plies, while our 7/8 product is of 8 plies, all TSCA compliant to meet industry standards for durability and sustainability.
It is worth noting that most species can have knots, holes, and cracks, which lower the wood's durability and increase the final cost of the sticks. However, using ENGINEERED Eucalyptus guarantees that the wood is free from these defects, ensuring that the piece maintains its strength and stability. Additionally, any defects are confined to each layer of the final product, making it more resistant.
Our Eucalyptus ENGINEERED KS is heavier than oak and pine, weighing 780 kg/m3 on the finished product. It is also much more cost-effective and sustainable as it is sourced from 100% plantations, ensuring a continued supply of high-quality wood that is both eco-friendly and long-lasting.
